Congress has an approval rating of about 14%, while the executive branch is only slightly higher. Our courts are also below standard in approval.
The United States of America would have been better off if we had fired the three branches of government prior to the first Bush becoming president. We should have somehow prolonged the life of Ronald Reagan and made him Dictator.
People in government are supposed to be looking out for us, and we assume (big mistake) that they are the cream of the crop intelligence wise. And, then we are shocked when President Jimmy Carter turns Iran over to Islamic Terrorists, and to this day, his actions are moronic in value. Then we have Clinton and Gore turning over classified stuff to China and giving Korea nuclear capability. Are they out of their ……. minds? Or, are they just traitors?
Another step in the decline of America was when the elder Bush stopped our troops from conquering Iraq as Baghdad was in their sights. What stupidity! The American people were dumbfounded at such an illogical maneuver by our president. Continuing into Baghdad could have saved us a lot of bloodshed, hardships, and money.
Then, the elder Bush started leaning toward promoting free trade by promoting NAFTA and Gat. Both of these traitorous concepts were put into effect by Clinton’s pressure on congress. This idiotic concept resulted in America’s destruction of manufacturing and outsourcing critical jobs to foreign countries. We have lost over 3 million jobs since then. Also, we are getting such an influx of items from foreign countries, it is impossible to perform adequate inspection. Just think of all the possible harm this can do to our health, safety, and well being. WMD, disease, criminals, as well as terrorism…..
Ross Perot had it right and most of intelligent Americans agreed with him. But, Clinton and congress apparently had an agenda that conflicted with the good of America. They arrogantly signed onto NAFTA and Gat continuing America’s decline to a third world country.
Under free trade, we Americans have seen our jobs; technology, factories and wealth leave these shores for foreign lands. Now, our money is coming back to buy up our companies and our country.
In a chess match, our government couldn’t look beyond one move at a time.
After 9/11, I was happy to see Bush attack the Taliban in Afghanistan, and then Iraq. I figured any action against these savages was ok with me. But, then political correctness set in. We must delay a quick winning of the war by sacrificing our soldiers in favor of civilians, and we must protect our civil liberties by not eavesdropping on phone calls, and we must not profile Muslims, even though most of them are our enemies. In addition, don’t even think about torturing these savage, or they might do the same to our captured soldiers. Actually the enemy mostly limits their actions to cutting off heads. Further, we must allow the ACLU, Cair, and other groups to use our court system to protect our enemies. And, of course, the courts generally rule in favor of the enemy.
I received a shocking jolt when Bush called the Minutemen, vigilantes. I began to see President Bush in a different light. A logical approach to the problem of our southern invasion of criminals was to accept anything helpful, not dismiss the actions of the minutemen. I was appalled at Bush’s comment.
Our three branches of government as well as governmental agencies have been failing us miserably.
We have probably 20 million illegal criminal aliens in the United States. Maybe half of them are from overstaying Visas, and the rest crossing our borders. The Visa program is stupid without proper administration. And for our government to allow porous borders is unconscionable. And then, there is the laughable recognition of babies born from illegals as American citizens. One would have to be a blithering idiot to condone that!
President Ronald Reagan signed an immigration bill giving amnesty to illegals and providing for border security. Our government in all its wisdom and glory honored the amnesty but ignored the security part. At that time they estimated close to 3 million illegals were affected.
The Ignoring of border security by our government and not enforcing sanctions against employers hiring illegals, encouraged our present crop of about 20 million Hispanics, criminal gangs, terrorists, and others to enter our Country, and then demand rights, receive entitlements, and use our court system to fight us. Only in America!
And we have stupid cities, religious groups and others providing sanctuary for these criminals. Only in America!
Our government has been ignoring securing our borders and instituting a workable visa program. So, what does our president do? He promotes and idiots in congress follow through on trying to pass a fraudulent, unworkable comprehensive immigration bill.
The only part of it that would have worked would have forgiven all illegal alien criminals, and allowed them to stay in the country. AMAZING!!! It would have even let stay illegal alien criminal gang members. How’s that for taking care of the American citizens?
And, what does this 14% approval rating congress do, after such a dismal history (including not drilling for oil or building refineries because of the stupid environmentalists)? They give themselves a massive pay raise.
What a bunch of low lifes living like kings off of our taxes.
Then we have more on the president’s agenda. He preaches his war on terrorism, while leaving our ports and borders open to criminals, and then wants to completely sink our country deeper in the hole by forming a North American Union with corrupt Mexico, and liberal Canada. To even things out among the three countries, we would accept the low lifes of Mexico and the Muslims from Canada. This would be facilitated by construction of a four football field’s wide super highway right through the middle of the U.S from Mexico to Canada. Hurrah for Global Business.
The latest brilliant proposal is to sell advanced weapons known as Joint Direct Attack Munitions. JDAMs that convert simple gravity bombs into accurate "smart" weapons, to potential enemies: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates (incredible).
And, then we get all kinds of spin from white house spokesmen telling us how great this is!
I believe the context of the above is true. But, not having a staff of experts, I can only write what I observe and digest. Is it possible to stop this lunacy? I have read many articles defining the problems a lot more eloquently, but, without solutions.
We need the few sane, moral members of congress, judges with some common sense, knowledgeable and honest journalists and members of the media, and any other active honest, intelligent, sane people to unite and come up with a solution that will save our country from being destroyed by radical islam, illegal aliens, and big business.
