What Happened to Our Government?

Many American citizens truly believe America is being destroyed from within. It appears that the three branches of government are now and have been for many years promoting programs that destroy our sovereignty, traditions, as well as our very existence. We can no longer depend on our government to perform its duties in an honorable fashion.

As we observe the deterioration of our Country and rely on common sense, logic and historical facts while reviewing articles written by a number of conservatives, and compare them with the drivel in the media and rhetoric from government, we must be convinced of a need for dramatic change. What can we do?

I use the term deterioration because of the following: 1.The plunging value of our currency. 2. Nafta and Gat, resulting in free trade agreements that destroyed our manufacturing dominance and resulted in loss of millions of American jobs (outsourcing- technical support for Sprint gave me a barely English-speaking woman in the Philippines)- Also, resulting in enormous volumes of imports unable to be inspected by our limited capability. Our president promotes and congress passes laws which cannot be administered properly. 3. Criminal alien hordes, along with violent criminals, drugs, disease, nuclear weapons?, and etc. from our southern border. 4. A fraudulent so-called comprehensive immigration bill promoted by none other than the President of the United States as well as many traitorous members of congress, and encouraged by the media. 5. A lax of port and border security. 6. A failure of governmental agencies to perform their duties adequately. 7. Stifling profiling, promoting political correctness, concern about treatment of savage prisoners, and bowing to the dictates of the ACLU, CAIR and similar groups (mostly by the courts). 8. Treatment of border patrol agents by President Bush. 9. Allowing challenge to states legislating against illegal aliens, as the federal government looks the other way. 10. A president desiring to destroy our country by opening borders, constructing a four lane four football fields wide expressway from Mexico to Canada right thru central USA , and forming a union with Mexico and Canada. He pretends to be against the terrorists, while leaving the United States vulnerable by land and sea. 11. Bowing to the environmentalists by not constructing refineries and drilling for oil. 12. A president who wants to sell advanced weapons known as Joint Direct Attack Munitions. JDAMs that convert simple gravity bombs into accurate "smart" weapons, to potential enemies: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates (incredible). 13. Allowing thousands of Mexican trucks with Mexican drivers to use our highways and freeways. This will, of course, increase serious accidents, increase influx of illegal aliens (including terrorists and other criminals), increase possibility of importing WMDs…

Congress is so out of control, the American people should review and judge every bill before congress. We would have to treat all bills as we did the fraudulent, traitorous immigration bill. Perhaps, with an approval rating of 14 %, congress should be fired, along with the president and many judges.

I totally agree with the following quote from a Townhall journalist:

Under free trade, we Americans have seen our jobs, technology, factories and wealth leave these shores for foreign lands. Now, our money is coming back to buy up our companies and our country.

Yes, indeed, we are witnessing how empires end.
